Today I wish for:
My experience in the absence of this kind of closure is that, as a practical matter, I do move on, but there’s always a piece of me that can still be called back--way too easily--by an unbidden memory.
Today I have an opportunity that may result in my getting the kind of closure I’ve been missing for more than a year, and that, in turn, could bring many good things to my life. I wish for that with my whole heart.
Closure
I don’t know about you, but I have never found a way to really get closure that means anything in the absence of the other person involved (what is the sound of one hand clapping?)To me, closure indicates (in part) the saying and hearing what needs to be said, so that both people can walk away (if that’s what needs to ultimately happen) with some understanding, resolution, peace, and… well, closure. No one should ever be denied that and then stuck wondering or worrying and maybe unable to let go and move on.
