The other day, I was talking with the incredibly wise RA. We’d not talked since before Christmas, and she wasn’t aware of the energy/intuitive stuff that’s been happening with me, so I made sure to clue her in. Along the way, she said many incredible things I’ll probably reference over time. But what landed strongly for me right out of the gate was this conversation:
She: What did you tell me you want?
Me: To be one of those women you and I discussed. The smart, wise, women who are seen as “elders” and sought out for what their experiences and heart bring to the table.
She: And what did you tell me you take sabbatical to do?
Me: Go off and spend time with me… be creative…see what comes up for me that might be new and different.
She: So—you deliberately made and took time to deconstruct and reconstruct, and this time around you got put back together in a pretty sophisticated way—with energetic stuff and intuition blossoming.
Ummmmm…. :)
I tell ya...sometimes, we’re simply too close to ourselves to see what’s happening. That’s why it’s uber helpful to have someone riding shotgun who can show you the stuff you’d miss completely while you’re in the thick of the experiences you’re meant to be having.
